Have you ever noticed the difference in how we take in different forms of art? From the amount of time we give to honor it, to the senses we use - it's entirely different from top to bottom.
Choosing between seeking approval from others or being vulnerable and authentic in our creative work is a constant struggle. Which matters more?
As a creative who is still maturing as a filmmaker, I often wonder if creating deep, impactful work makes me any less of an artist, or makes my work any less valuable to an audience.
Sometimes I'll come up with an idea for a film that I'd fall in love with, only for someone to suggest changes or not see it the way I do. Is it a bad idea, or does it just need time?
